Decent value, easy app

I used Fever for the first time to grab tickets for a local food festival. I saw they had a first-time user discount when I signed up for their newsletter, which saved me a few bucks right off the bat, so that was a good start. The app was easy to navigate and find the event I wanted. Compared to other sites I checked, the price with the discount was pretty competitive. The tickets were delivered instantly to the app, which was convenient. Overall, it felt like a good deal for what I paid, and the event was fun.

Good event, slow customer service

I booked tickets for a Candlelight concert through Fever and the experience itself was great, really atmospheric. The booking process was straightforward enough. However, I had a question about transferring tickets to a friend a few days before the event and it took their customer service team almost 48 hours to get back to me. The event was already next day by then, so it felt a bit close. It worked out, but the response time could definitely be faster, especially for time-sensitive inquiries.

Always reliable for local events

This was my fourth time using Fever, and they've been consistently good. I booked tickets for a jazz night this time, just like I did for a previous themed pop-up bar. The process was smooth again, and getting the tickets through the app is always easy. I like knowing what to expect, and Fever always delivers the tickets promptly. It's why I keep coming back when I'm looking for things to do in the city. No issues with event access or anything.

Anyone know if they do student discounts for these events? specifically looking at a jazz night.

O Omar 2 months ago
They do sometimes! I've seen student discounts mentioned for certain Candlelight concerts, so it's worth checking the event page or their help section.

Not for everything, but definitely for some stuff. I'd poke around their site or maybe even google 'Fever student discount' and see if anything pops up.

I'm looking at a concert for next month, but Eventbrite has similar stuff. What's the main difference here?

P Phil Kim 2 months ago
Fever seems to have more of their 'original' experiences, like the Candlelight concerts, which are pretty unique. Eventbrite is more of a general listing site.

Fever feels more curated, like they really pick what goes on their platform. Eventbrite is just... everything. So depends if you want a lot of options or more hand-picked stuff.

Can I use multiple promo codes at checkout? Got a referral from a friend and saw another code for a specific event type.

C Carly 2 months ago
Nah, usually only one code works per order. Tried it before, it just takes the last one you entered.

Afaik, no stacking. They're usually pretty clear in the terms that it's one per transaction.

Hey, wondering if Feverup is actually legit? like, are the tickets real or am I gonna show up and get turned away lol.

E Emma 2 months ago
Yeah, totally legit. Used them for a Candlelight concert last month, no issues at all.

They're good. They mostly partner with venues directly for their stuff, not like a resale site. So you get real tickets.

Trying to book one of those immersive art things for me and my friends, but it's a bit pricey. Any way to get a discount on my first purchase?

S Sophie 2 months ago
Check if there's a referral code floating around, usually good for a few bucks off. Or sometimes they do a new user thing if you download the app.

I got like 10% off my first Candlelight ticket through a newsletter sign-up, so maybe try that for your event?
